Refund policy
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Diamond and Gemstone Studded/ Gold/ Platinum/ Preset Solitaire Jewellery :
15 Day Money-Back : 100% Return Within 15 days of invoice date. | 100% of invoice value* Upto Rs. 2,00,000 | Not Applicable on International Orders.
Lifetime Exchange (LTE) : 90% value rate of the invoice value.
Lifetime Buyback : Gold : 100% value of metal value at the prevailing metal rate.* Diamond : 90% value of the prevailing diamond rate. Gemstone : 80% value of the prevaling gemstone rate.
Plain Gold/ Platinum/ Gemstone Jewellery and Unstudded Solitaire Mount :
15 Day Money-Back : 100% refund for returns within 15 dyas. Not Applicable on International Orders. Lifetime Exchange (LTE) : 100% value of Gold/ Platinum metal weight at the prevailing market rate.* 80% of the prevailing Gemstone value.*
Lifetime Buyback : An additional 3% will be deducted from the LTE value.
Solitaires (Loose Diamonds) :
15 Day Money-Back : 100% refund for returns within 15 days. Lifetime Exchange (LTE) : 90% of the preveiling solitaire rate. Lifetime Buyback : 80% of the preveiling solitaire rate.
*The preveiling market value will be determined by the comapnay.
Payment and Refunds :
Cash paymnet above Rs. 1.99 lacs in a single day from a customer will not be acceptable. We will also not accept cash payments above Rs. 1.99 lacs for the same order, irrespective of the payment date.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. If payment is made by local cheque or demand draft, delivery of the product(s) purchased will be made only after realization of the amount by the company. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

MONEY-BACK, BUYBACK AND EXCHANGES TERMS & CONDITIONS :
- Customised Jewellery (including personalised/ engraved products) is not eligible for a 15 Day Money back or a 15 Day Exchange. Lifetime Exchange and Buyback are applicable.
- Once your returned item is received, our Quality Assurance Department will review it. Any item that shows sign of wear or has been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than company) or damaged cannot be accpted for 15 Day Money-Back.
- The product should be accompanied by the original product certificate and the original copy of the invoice for all exchanges within the 15 Day Money-back period.
- In case the customer cannot produce the original certificate, the company will send the solitaire/ jewellery to the Lab for re-certification, the shipping, handling and certification cost of which shall be borne by the customer.
- In case of refund on 15 Day Money-Back, payment of the refund amount shall be done via online bank transfer to the customer's bank account within 10 days of receipt of the product. if the mode of the payment was through online debit/ credit card/ net banking, the refund will be processed by reversal of the transaction.
- In case the exchange product value is higher than the value of the old product, the customer will have to pay difference.
- In case the exchanged product value is lesser than the value of the old product, the difference will be refunded in case of a 15 Day exchange policy, but if it comes under Lifetime Exchange Policy then the difference will be held as a credit fo future purchase.
- This feature is not available for international orders (orders that will be shipped abroad from india).
- Velvet Box reserves the right to change the terms and conditions for the specific customers.
- 15 Day Money-Back is not applicable on a product purchased in exchange of old gold coins & old gold.
- Lifetime Exchange and Buyback values are calculated as per the return policy table.
- Any new product purchased against LTE value or Old Gold Exchange credit will be eligible for LTE and Buyback but not eligible for 15 Day Money-Back.
- Additional 10% will be deducted from the LTE value if the customer does not have the invoice. Loss of the original product certificate would result in deduction of Rs. 1000.
- You can exchange your design within 15 days of the full invoice value only once. if you wish to exchange the design second time, it will be considered as a Lifetime Exchange.
- 15 Day Money-Back is not applicable on orders that have been exchanged earlier under the 15 Day Exchange Policy.
LIFETIME WARRANTY POLICY :
- We stand by the Quality and Craftsmanship of our Jewellery, VELVET BOX offers a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing faults on every VELVET BOX Jewellery. If a fault is discovered, VELVET BOX will repair or replace the item free of cost. VELVET BOX does not provide any warranty caused by wear tear (or) inappropriate use of customer.
- The Lifetime Warranty Policy is not applicable for Gemstone or Diamond damage/ repair/ lost.
